Just Us Girls Challenge #795 -Use Dies Week - Leaves - Thanks Today and Always (Betterpress Society Leaves)

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #795, where our hostess, Bobby, would like to see die cut leaves on our cards/projects.

A new month means a new guest designer. For October, we're delighted to have talented and creative Greta Hess joining us.

Marking its debut is my September BetterPress Society press plate. The leaves are easy to ink and, indeed, are lovely in a wide range of colour combinations. Autumn colours for me this time.

Please head over to the main blog where you'll see fabulous inspiration from Greta and the rest of my team.
Then, bring out your DIE CUT LEAVES and join us in the gallery.

Thank you for dropping by!

Color Hues Challenge #119 - Rust and Yellow - Season of Thanks (Concord and 9th)

Hello,

Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #119  where Marcia, our hostess, has selected Rust and Yellow as inspiration for the next two weeks. Autumn vibes for sure - but plenty of other seasons/occasions also come to mind.

I went all in with a fall theme, using an older stamp and die set from Concord & 9th. Altenew and Taylored Expressions inks and a snippet of rust paper from a Tim Holtz collection in my stash made creating the card quite easy to create.

Please head over to the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from my teammates, then join us in the gallery with your Rust and Yellow cards/projects.

The challenge will be open until Tuesday, Oct. 14th @ 9:00AM.

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

Thank you for dropping by!

AAA Birthday Cards Game #78 - Ombre - Modern Design Blocks Happy Birthday Wishes (PFS)

Hello,

Welcome to AAA Birthday Cards Game #78, where, for the month of October, we'd like to see Ombre featured on your cards

We're delighted to have Karen Walker joining us as our Guest Designer this month.

Although my card looks a bit splotchy and, perhaps, slightly disheveled, I was aiming for a stylized version of ombre. I inked the Pinkfresh Studios glimmered image with three shades of blue ink, trying for light, medium and dark in each of the 'sections. In real life, the effect is pretty and definitely has an ombre vibe.

Even if my photo isn't great, I think you get the drift of my intention - and perhaps ombre in different portions of your image may serve as inspiration for you.

Please head over to the main blog to see ombre-awesomeness from my teammates.
Looking forward to seeing how this challenge inspires you.
The gallery is open all month; see you there.

Thank you for dropping by!

AAA Cards Challenge #300 - Sketch - Creepin' It Real (Craftoween Day 5 Spider)

Hello,

Welcome to AAA Cards Challenge #300 where we invite you to draw inspiration from the sketch featured in the graphic below.

My multi-eyed, top-hatted spider from my Spelbinders' Craft-O-Ween box has come out to play. I've paired him with a trio of spider webs from a much loved, old set of Halloween stamps from Winnie & Walter.

Please head over to the main blog to see how my talented teammates were inspired by the sketch, then create a CAS card and join us in the gallery.

Thank you for dropping by!

Inkspirational Challenge #351 - Mood Board - Snail Mail (Simply Stated Patchwork Snails, Concord and 9th, Spellbinders)

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #351, where we invite you to draw inspiration from the mood board below. Whether it’s the woodland scene, the starry night sky or the little details—mushrooms, berries, butterflies, the snail—you’ll find so much to spark your imagination. You might even be drawn to the colors, the whimsical vibe, or even the unexpected touches like the ladder, towels and bathtub to the left of the shower curtain. Wherever your eye lands, we can’t wait to see how it inspires your creativity!

My eye landed on the little snail on the bottom right of the curtain - and since I have a delightful package of patchwork snails from Simply Stated Design in my collection, I brought one out to play. Isn't he pretty? I paired him with postage stamp dies from Spellbinders and Waffle Flower, along with a sentiment from Concord & 9th.

We look forward to seeing the gallery bursting at the seams with cards/projects inspired by the mood board.

Thank you for dropping by!

Just Us Girls Challenge #793 - MOOD BOARD - Autumn Greetings with SSD Autumn Splendour

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #793 where our hostess, Bobby, has selected this lovely Autumn-inspired mood board as inspiration this week. Talk about wonderful fall vibes.

Jaydee joins us once again as our September Guest Designer.

I reached for the lovely Autumn Splendour collection from Simply Stated Designs for my card. Spellbinders' Hexi-Gem dies for the focal panel and a Honeybee Stamps sentiment made for an easy-to-create card.
